Today we learned about the two water ecosystems.  What are they?  What is the name of the fish that can survive in both saltwater and freshwater?  HMMMMMMM!!!  What does invertebrate mean?  Write your definition with some examples.  If this is going to count as part of the homework menu, you need to write a paragraph (5-7 sentences)!!  Have fun investigating!!

    Dear Sra. Sandoval,

Today we learned a lot in science. The 2 ecosystems we learned about are salt and fresh water. It is called a euryhaline fish.Invertebrate means there is no backbone.A starfish does not have a backbone, so it is one.We as people do have backbones, so we are not a invertebrate.Today science was very interesting.

    Dear class,
I hope you’re exited because the answer is….. THE SALMON. The salmon is a multi-water fish. First it is born in a river(where the eggs are safe from the waves in the ocean/stream) then goes down the waterfall that leads to the ocean or stream &spends its life there until the female is ready to lay her eggs(the male goes anyway). Once the the eggs are ready the male takes care of the eggs & makes sure they survive.

INVERTEBRATE!!! If an animal is invertebrate it means it has no bones or it has no back bones. Here are three examples,
~ a sea cucumber has no bones at all & it’s BONELESS!!!
~ a star fish has no back bones
~ a jelly fish is also BONELESS!

Omg i new it that.that was a hard one to gues. What i learned today was that there are two diferent water ecosystems and those are saltwater and fresh water. I also learned that invertabrate is a animal that has no back bone. For example a sea star, jelly fish and much more. I really enjoyed todays lesson and I want to learn more.

  4. Wow! Thats good Judy! Here are my examples:

    and Octopus

Oh, and I didn’t know it was the salmon! Does it really come back to the same place! I can’t believe it! See you next time.

!Adios!

Today I learned about different types of sharks. one of them is the cookie cutter shark. It sounds SWEET;)but it can make a perfect circle in its prey’s body:{.
I also learned that some sharks eat other sharks.

OOPSSS!!! My bad I posted the comment 2 times!!!

  9. On Thirsday we learnd and heard about Lily and her story around the ecosystems.
Witch were;: Apond, the forest, the ocean, the taiga, and the tropical rainforest.
My favorite one is the rainforest. See you next time.

  10. On thursday we learned about ecosystims in a big book. We learned about the food chain and how it works. First is the Sun, then the plants. After that are hervireros, carnivoros, y sigue.

  11. What we learned today was how to do 3 digits times 3 digits. It’s like 43 times 6 but longer. Mady and me went to 4 digits times 4 digits!

  12. It still counts as homework, right? I mean isaid what we did today.

  13. Beacause there was no sience.

What is the relationship with bees and flowers?

  16. Leanne/JB

What is the relationship between a bees and a flowers?

    answers is: Symbiosis

Today in scince we learend why decomposers & scavengers are important to the food chain. They are important because if they din’t eat dead animales then there would be a bunch of dead animales laying all over the place.

  18. Nadia Yasmine Bourche

Yes i remember learning that. I know what the two water ecosystems are. One is the saltwater. Another one wich is the last one is freshwater. In the saltwater sharks, crabs and sea turtloles live. But freshwater, crocadiles, piranhas and other fish live there. That is what I learned about the ecosystems and freshwater including saltwater.

Afectara nuestra calificacion.
    Les deseo suerte!

Today during scince we took a test, & this is a summary all about what I learned of Ecosystems:
First we learned about fresh water & salt water, salt water is like an ocean & the water is not drinkable. Fresh water is water were we get drinking water & gold fish can live in there. We learned what invertabrates are, they are animales that have no bones(weired). THe zones of the sea are the shoreline zone, coastline, & the open sea. At the end we just learned about food chains, firstly the sun & water, then the producers(plants), then the herbovors, then the carnovor, & lastly the omnovors(oh & don’t forget the decomposers & scavengers!).

  24. Today we learned for social studies in class about the gold rush. We also learned places in Sacramento in the Gold Rush. The last thing we learned was what the 49ers wore. Like; hats, bags, jeans, bandanas, boots and carried a pot with them to collect the gold. Thats what we learned today.
